Dolphin Massacre in Japan
Every year, thousands of dolphins are confined and brutally killed by slaughters in small towns across Japan. These slaughters take place in fishing towns including Taiji, Iki, Ito, Futo and Izu. Slaughters always use spear thrust or knife slash to injure few of the captives to retain the group of dolphins since dolphins never leave their injured family members. Dolphins meat are later sold as meat in restaurants and market. How can they do this to defenseless dolphins?

So where else, other than Japan, can one get dolphin meat? If these creatures are dying, I’d like to make sure it’s not in vain. I do the same for all the suffering pork, beef, chicken, fish, squid, clams, oysters, octopi out there.

I do not know where can we get dolphin meat other than Japan. Maybe Japan is the only place we can get dolphin meat. I am trying to be vegetarian.

oh my god! how can people do that?! that clearly proves that humans are the worst creatures on earth, we may be the smartest but we don’t prove that by doing this to those poore animals! I get SO angry when I see these kinds of things; dont they have a heart? can’t they see that the animals are suffering?! GOD! I would really like to ask one of those men in Japan that…really look them in the eyes and ask.. they should feel REALLY bad about themselves!

i would like to ask this men if they don’t have any feelings.. Cant they see the dolphins are in pain!? What if I would hurt them while they were still alive. This HAS to stop!! This dolphins have down nothing wrong and htey cant defense thereself why are they hurting this poor creatures

This is too sick for words. If you are going to slaughter them, at least do it in a less pain suffering way. I would like to hang a couple of these men upside down myself and slit their throats just enough that they slowly bleed to death. This is unmerciful and may God take action on their empty souls for not having found a better job. As for the ringleaders, I’m sure there is a special warm place waiting for them in Hell.

Dolphin killing and whale killing has got to stop, but in the states, you also do not see it, but for the sake of efficiency cows (no less dumb than whales) are frequently slaughtered while conscious (hung upside down, and cut down the side). They also try to knock out pigs and chicken (or various other ways to terminate life before slicing), but frequently it is just faster to dice while alive or the method to knock out the animal is not successful and you have a wailing animal being sliced alive. Moreover in milk farms, chicken farms etc, the space is so tight that a cow may be walking in its own dung (milking cows breasts artificially augmented via hormones and dragging in feces). Chicken coops may be so crammed (real estate = $$) that parts of their bodies are stuck/pressed outside the wire cage inducing cuts. It is no surprise then that animal diseases have spread more and more easily in the last decade (perhaps it is karma).
Americans, Japanese, Europeans farm cows in horrible and torturous conditions. Koreans farm dogs. The Chiense eat various animals also. Dog killing is as cruel as dolphin killing is as cruel as cow killing most of the time as the concern is not about the welfare of the animal but about efficienct in time and space. In the end I don’t think anyone can say anything on the basis of cruelty unless they don’t eat meat or animal derived products (which is not easy). There is no such thing as humane but space and time efficient farming/hunting. Slicing an animal alive is faster than trying to knock it out, seeing if it is awake, and then slaughtering it. Cutting a vein and waiting for it to pass out and die is never what they do at slaughterhouses (for those that eat pork or beef). Failed electric shocks and wailing animals are the norm. The only difference between one culture’s meat and another is that one culture might find one animal’s killing more repulsive than the other (a Hindi would think beef-eaters disgraceful). In addition endangered species are a concern; however, on the basis of cruelty there is only hypocrisy if one eats meat and calls any kind of hunting/farming cruel be it kangaroo, alligator, monkey, cow, dog, dolphin, whale, pig, etc.

This is as humane as it gets. The cow is conscious and is cut down its chest and for several minutes it throws up blood and convulses in pain and not being able to breath (choking on blood).
There are many worse cases where a cow is hung upside-down conscious and starts getting cut from the side (dissected while fighting alive).
Here several failed Co2 gas stuns were filmed (of pigs). They can be heard squaling as they are lifted to be sliced. CO2 stuns that do not render the animal unconscious also cause respitory distress and panic. Just as horrific, some pigs stunned with electricity (because of wrong contact placement, too much time from stun to knife) remain conscious as they are slaghtered. Most animals are starved and forced to fast for an extended time prior to slaughter (which as in humans increases lethargy, stress, weakness and sensitivity to cold). The worst in terms of percent rendering a pig unconscious is a captive bolt.
Chickens probably are contained in the most crowded of conditions (real estate = $$). They usually walk in their own excrement. Like cows with hormone and antibiotic injections, chicken too are made to grow artificially large through the use of hormones (more meat per feed = more $$). Transport from chicken coops to slaughterhouses unlike with cows and pigs can take a long time (in crates alive). Sick birds in coops are simply beaten to death or thrown away alive by farmers. To prevent fighting amongst hens, beaks are almost always cut (they are concentrated in nerve endings). Here is a video showing the process:

After seeing the barbaric act of these men, I feel horrified and worried, for the consequences of what men did to nature (massacre)
Dolphins are playful and intelligent creatures who are also able not only to entertain but also to save a man’s life. I cried and I know many people had and will…
They did a horrible thing to the sea, I know someone who is more superior is not happy, just wait for mother nature’s revenge to these men and all those who abuses her…
We are all aware that it already started but I pray that I won’t be able to see the worse things to come.
Government and people should act now, maybe Mother nature will give us a second chance… I hope

SOME FACTS:
The dolphin meat is heavily contaminated (at least 14 times the highest recommended limit of mercury for human consumtion). This is the meat that is being sold to school children in Japan and poisoning their populace. Not only is the dolphin killing disgustingly inhumane, it is also illegally infecting and contaminating the japancese population, causing birth defects and death. Dolphins have been proven to have exceptionally high intelligence and have saved the lives of many humans. (my husband is one of them, so I am eternally grateful!!)
Killing all animals is cruel in my eyes ( I am a vegetarian), but the dolphin kills would have to be one of the most savage and disturbing I have encountered. Please visit the sea shepherd website, as this is a crew doing more than most to stop the slaughter.
PLEASE HELP STOP THE SLAUGHTER!!!

Why would people do this to amazing creatures? It has been proven that dolphins are one of the most intelligent creatures on this Earth. We must band together to stop this senseless slaughter and help Japanese fishermen who do this to find an alternative means of income. Protect the dolphins!

If that isn’t enough to bring tears to your eyes, what is enough? This is so cruel and inhumane? So many people seem to think these living creatures don’t have emotions, don’t feel pain. But they do, and this shows it. All too sad.
